Anyone who is still experiencing skin rashes should participate in this study. Here is how:
People in Flint with rashes should call 211 and ask to be included in the rash study, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services officials said Friday.
Callers will be asked the following questions:
Then, people will be referred to one of the dermatologists who is part of the study. In addition, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will test the water in the homes of those involved in the investigation.
Call 2-1-1 for details.
This is just one phase of the comprehensive study which needs to be done to evaluate all the health impacts the water crisis has had on the residents of Flint. We continue to urge that a comprehensive study be done.
